Includes studio portraits, publicity stills and snapshots pertaining to the careers of singers Lillian Glaser Hopper and her husband, DeWolf Hopper, chiefly during the 1920s and 1930s. Also includes photographs of Lillian later in life when she served as Reverend at the First Church of Religious Science in Oakland, Calif. Also depicts other actors, actresses, singers, friends and associates of the Hoppers.

Lillian Glaser Hopper was born Lillian Faulker in Oakland, Caifornia. Her first husband, a Dr. Glaser, died during the 1918 influenza epidemic. She was later married to actor and singer DeWolf Hopper. She performed light opera and other musical theater in San Francisco, Chicago and elsewhere. After DeWolf's death in 1935 Lillian returned to Oakalnd. She became an ordained minister in 1954 and served at the First Church of Religious Science, in Oakland until her death in 1969.
